Vivo has already made it official that its association with Ranveer Singh has come to an end after a 20-year stint by saying, “Ranveer Singh and Vivo India have had an exciting and productive association for the past two years. The relationship aided Vivo India in generating mass brand awareness that has set our products apart from the competition in the Indian smartphone market. The brand has evolved significantly since its launch in India and has aggressive consolidation plans that will boost future growth. Vivo India is thankful to Ranveer for being an invaluable and integral part of the Vivo India Journey so far.”

The smartphone manufacturer has been heavily marketing the fact that Aamir Khan has joined the family with more than a couple of Tweets on the social media portal and now they have finally posted the final teaser of his official unveiling as Vivo’s new brand ambassador. That said, the official announcement or we can say, Aamir Khan’s first appearance as part of the Vivo family is expected to be on March 23, during an event where the Vivo V9is also expected to be launched.

 

 

Vivo V9 is expected to come with an Apple iPhone X-notch which means that there will be a hell lot of real estate at the front of the device for media consumption and apart from that, the iPhone X-inspiration will continue with a vertical dual camera setup. As per the company’s listing, the Vivo V9 will be available in Pearl Black and Gold color options, and the device will come with AI as well as AR features such as face beauty, stickers, gender detection and face detection for the front-facing camera.

As for specifications, the Vivo V9 will come with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (1080x2280) IPS display coupled with a notch. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the camera front, there will a vertically-aligned dual camera setup which comprises of the 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary lens coupled with LED flash. At the front, there will be a 24-megapixel shooter while both cameras include f/2.0 aperture. The dual-SIM smartphone will be backed by a 3260mAh non-removable battery and will run FunTouch OS 4.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
